Tuesday: Snakes in Your Mind

The names/ descriptions/ characteristics of Satan reveals his strategies against our minds

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.... 14 So

the Lord God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than

every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life.

Revelations 12: 7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and

his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great

dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to

the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Hhmm...with God cursing the “serpent” to crawl on his belly, there must have been some kind of legs on this

creature?? Interestingly when the war was in heaven, the devil is referred to as a dragon. Then when the angel

Michael kicks his butt and he is cast out of heaven, he is referred to as the serpent!

Dragons are usually fiery breathing, angry creatures.
